Pipes: CPVC is mainly used for processing pipes and hot water pipes and corrosive media. If the temperature does not exceed 100%, it can maintain sufficient strength and can be used for a long time under higher internal pressure. The weight gradient of CPVC is one-sixth of that of steel and one-fifth of that of steel. It has very low thermal conductivity. Therefore, pipes produced with CPVC have the characteristics of light weight, good performance and no heat preservation.
CPVC pipes can be used for hot sewage pipes, electroplating liquid pipes, enterprise hot chemical pipes and wet chlorine pipes in chlorine-nitrification plants.
Spray-molded parts: CPVC resin can be used to produce flow pipes, filter materials, spin dryers, accessories, and electrical and electronic parts such as wires, extended protective layers, electrical switches, fuse closing doors, and cable insulation materials.
Rolled plates: can be used to produce chemical equipment such as reactors, valves, and electrolytic cells that are resistant to chemical corrosion.
Composite materials: CPVC composite materials made of CPVC and inorganic or organic fibers have good impact resistance and better heat resistance than composite materials of other resins. It can produce shapes such as sheets, pipes, corrugated boards, and profiles.
CPVC can be used to modify polyvinyl chloride fibers: the washing and sun exposure temperature of homemade polyvinyl chloride fibers will not exceed 60 ℃. Adding 30% CPVC when breaking polyvinyl chloride fibers can greatly improve the heat resistance of the product and reduce the shrinkage rate from the original 50% to less than 10%.
Foaming material: CPVC foaming material is heat-resistant shrinkage PVC. The shrinkage rate at high temperature is very small. It can be used as insulation material for hot water pipes, steam pipes, etc. CPVA with a chlorine content of more than 60% has very good preservation of solvents. CPVC is foamed in a solvent that can produce gas when heated, and uniform and foamed foaming can be obtained. Solvents with a boiling point of 50-160° C, such as carbon compounds, ether hydrogen, aldehydes, etc., can initialize foaming.
Others: CPVC and thermoplastics or thermosetting plastics can significantly improve the physical and mechanical properties of these materials, such as improving the heat resistance of products. Foreign countries have produced CPVC with stronger impact toughness and transparency by improving production technology. This transparent material can be used in products for automobiles, CDs and audio-visual products. It has good economic benefits.
